We are a natural healthcare center that treats the entire person as a whole, not just the symptoms, in order to create a more harmonious balance within the body.  We offer acupuncture (NCCAOM board certified and Michigan licensed) and cupping therapy to the Northern Michigan area. We are dedicated to a natural, effective and safe approach to preventing and treating disease in the body.  Our specialties include pain management, prenatal support, infertility, emotional imbalances, and pediatrics. We use acupuncture, as well as other modalities, to create a relaxed and personalized treatment based on each individual's health.

Sarah Rasmussen is a Traverse City native and holds a bachelor of science from Michigan State University (2002). She further went on to complete a Master's in Acupuncture from the New England School of Acupuncture (2009), the oldest acupuncture school in the United States.  She is a registered acupuncturist in Michigan (RAc), nationally board certified (NCCAOM), licensed in MI, as well as being certified in Acupuncture detoxification (NADA), auriculotherapy, and clean needle technique (CCAOM).  She uses both Chinese and Japanese styles of treatment as well as other adjunctive therapies, such as cupping, gwa sha, tuina, and moxibustion. Sarah specializes in pain management, women's health, pediatrics and emotional issues.
