Birth Doula
**Sarah & Heather are not accepting doula clients at this time.
Sarah and Heather are a sister doula team both DONA trained and certified. Together they have attended over 100 births.
Your birth doula services will include:
Unlimited support via phone, email, and text before the birth and up to 6 weeks postpartum.
2-3 prenatal visits. We will come to your home or meet at a comfortable location of your choosing. At your first prenatal meeting we will discuss your birth plan, as well as anything else you'd like us to know about you, your baby, and your upcoming birth. We will go over coping mechanisms, labor positions, provide labor and childbirth information, and discuss your hopes and fears.
Beginning at 38 weeks gestation we will become on-call 24/7 for you until the birth of your baby occurs. When you go into labor, and you are ready for us to be present, we will be by your side no matter what time of day or night. We can meet you at your home, to labor there, or meet you at the hospital.
Labor Support- continuous emotional, physical and educational support throughout the labor & delivery of your baby will be provided. We will remain by your side for at least 1-2 hours afterward to make sure you and your new family are settling in and the baby is feeding well.
Postpartum Support- this will include 1 postpartum visit within 2-3 weeks after your delivery to check in, share stories, and make sure that breastfeeding (if you choose to) is going effectively.
